Zac Efron Startled by Fans' Determination
Finding success as Hollywood heart-throb, Zac Efron discovers that his sexy status has a catch. To Heat magazine, the star confessed that he is shocked by his fans' efforts to get close to him. Giving an example to the efforts, he recalled the time a fan is trying to get an autograph from him.

"One time I went into a men's restroom and a girl just followed me in," he said. "I wrote an autograph for her on the sink. It was pretty funny because she was in a guy's restroom and she wasn't ashamed at all. I give her credit for it."

He also told the time another fan did further to approach him by storming at him while he bought DVDs. Efron shared, "This 15-year-old fan gave me a hug, like a big ole bear hug from behind! I was sort of taken by surprise and I said, 'Wow, thank you, that's awesome.'" Telling more on the girl's next attempt to plant a kiss on his lips, he said, "I pulled away and I was like, 'Whoa! Thank you...I'll see you guys soon...' It was pretty bad."

This 21-year-old star has been taking part in the publicity blitz since starring in Disney Channel's original movie "High School Musical" in 2006, portraying Troy Bolton. His fame continues as High School Musical has spawned two sequels, one of which is "High School Musical 3: Senior Year". He will next be seen starring in "Seventeen Again" and "Me and Orson Welles".
