Selena Gomez Talks 'Wizards of Waverly Place' Movie

Selena Gomez has revealed that there are plans to make big screen version of her popular Disney series "Wizards of Waverly Place".

Just like her fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus' popular series "Hannah Montana" which turns into big screen, Selena Gomez's Disney series "Wizards of Waverly Place" may also have its own movie version. The 16-year-old girl has revealed that there are plans to make big screen version of her popular series.

"Yes! We actually want to shoot it here in New York," the teen actress, who is rumored to be dating Miley's ex-beau Nick Jonas, told MTV News. Selena also revealed about what she thinks might happen in the big screen version. "I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed," she said.

But until her big screen dreams come true, the teen sensation is still busy with the TV series. "I think that my fans will expect more magic and crazy stuff going on," the actress said of her series' ongoing second season. "I think you see Alex more mature this season." She revealed her character is growing up in the second season, saying "She gets her first boyfriend."

Talking about her on-screen boyfriend, Selena said that the guy is really sweet. "His name is Daniel, and he's just this really sweet guy who, I honestly think, has a lot of potential. I think he's going to do great." "No, [he doesn't know our secret] yet," she added.

And again, Selena would love to have her big celebrity crush Shia LaBeouf in either the TV show or the movie. "You'd think that as much as I promote it [he'd be coming on]," the Disney cutie joked. "I'm, like, begging, but it's not happening. I know I'm a nerd! Please, Shia, come on my show!"
