Victoria Adams Strips for Armani

Victoria Adams will strip down to her underwear as she is signed as the new model of Emporio Armani Women's Underwear. Recent reports have claimed that the former Spice Girls member will be the "face" for Emporio Armani's bras and knickers in the Spring/Summer 2009 campaign due to be outed early 2009.

For this Armani ad campaign that will cover posters, billboards and glossy magazines, Adams reportedly worked with professional photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the pair who also worked for David Beckham's Armani Men's Underwear ad campaign. Allegedly, she has taken the shot made in the beachside community of Malibu though it is unclear when the photo shoot was done.

During the press release on Wednesday, October 30, Giorgio Armani said of Adams' involvement, "Who better than Victoria Beckham to launch our new global Emporio Armani underwear campaign? Victoria is a style icon, a dynamic lady whose influence and recognition will add great excitement to the continued international growth of our Emporio Armani women's underwear business."

By modeling for Armani's underwear, the 34-old-year star joins her husband's footsteps of being the brand's face. Her husband, David Beckham, previously signed to be Armani's underwear model for autumn/winter 2009 collection. His ad campaign was released on Wednesday night, June 18, while the collections itself hit the stores in the U.S. in August and in Europe in July.
