Seal definitely do not want Republican presidential candidate John McCain to become the next president of the United States. The couple revealed that they will leave the U.S. if the politician wins the election which will be held on November 4 this year.
"If McCain is elected and America staggers on further towards the abyss, then we will leave the country. That is not a problem for us," Seal told Vanity Fair, revealing his and Heidi's dislike towards John. The British singer, on the other hand, showed some support for John's rival Barack Obama, saying, "There is no doubt that he is a great man, and I would put a cross next to his name immediately, if I could."
Although he can't vote in the election, Seal told the magazine he is pretty optimistic that John won't win because he believes the American "had enough of the atrocities of the Bush administration." "The health system is a catastrophe, the economy has hit rock bottom, and Bush has forced his country through lies into an unnecessary and horrible war," he went on saying.
Previously, Heidi, who recently became a U.S. citizen, acknowledged she will vote for Obama on the upcoming election. "I just got my citizenship for America, so now I'm going to be voting too... I'm voting for Obama," she said.
