Zac Efron reportedly uses emu oil to get rid of scars. The 21-year-old hunk is said to be obsessed with the unusual oil since he had his appendix removed. The actor has stocked up on emu oil because he is paranoid about the marks left on his abdomen.
Zac had his appendix taken out in January. The "High School Musical" star was reportedly rushed to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre for emergency surgery soon before he was due to start filming scenes for his upcoming flick "Seventeen Again".
"Zac applies emu oil daily to a scar he got from his appendectomy earlier this year," a source revealed. "He can't handle having imperfect abs and the oil, which is made from the bird's fat is said to fade scars. It is already working."
