Lindsay Lohan won't be taking any participation as host at the 20th Annual World Music Awards as she has been dropped by the organizers and is being replaced by Denise Richards.
Lindsay Lohan has been dropped as the host of the 20th Annual World Music Awards. The star of "
Mean Girls" was axed by the organizers of the awards at the last minute. The Daily Mirror was the first publication that claimed the matter.
Capturing the truth about the axing of Lilo, a source says, as reported by Mirror, that Lilo is furious because she does not want to share the spotlight with
Jesse Metcalfe for the job. The source claims, "Lindsay was furious that she wasn't the star." Additionally, the organizers get negative feedback when they insist on putting her name to host the event.
"But the feedback they got was really negative," The source then adds, "They got worried and decided to change it. In the end it was decided by both parties it was better if she pulled out."
Back in the 2006 World Music Awards, Lilo has been reported to mess up her presenting part at Earls Court when she stumbles upon her lines. What made it worse, at that moment, she called out
Beyonce Knowles to the stage while the "Dangerously in Love" singer was still getting her hair done.
Now that Lilo has been dropped, another name has been picked up to replace her position. Replacing Lilo as the host of the event held in Monaco on November 9 is
Denise Richards, the star of "
Blonde and Blonder".
