Beyonce Knowles is no stranger to no-frills flight because the singer sometimes flies economy if she needs to.
While other celebrities may get the best for their flight,
Beyonce Knowles said she has no problem flying economy. The R'n'B singer, who is married to rapper
Jay-Z, feels OK to fly economy class as long as she still has some breathing space.
"Even now I sometimes fly economy if I need to. We had a storm in Miami and there was a hurricane coming so we just got out," she said. But Beyonce revealed that her only trouble is surviving the journey unnoticed.
"You know the airlines where if you're fifth in line, you sit in seat five? And then they throw a peanut at you with your drink? I don't care about those kind of things," the "Crazy in Love" singer added. "It's just that people don't give me peace, that's the hardest thing."
Meanwhile, her trip to Japan to promote her new single became an interesting experience when she met a devoted transvestite tribute band. Beyonce appeared on Japanese TV where she performed with Yajima Beauty Salon, a comedy musical troupe styled on her hit film "
Dreamgirls". And the Japanese drag queens repeatedly referred to the 27-year-old singer as their "sister". "You are all amazing," Beyonce praised the performers after the show.
