An episode of Miley Cyrus' 'Hannah Montana', which is entitled "No Sugar, Sugar", has been pulled out from its Sunday airing schedule on November 9 due to flooding complaints from concerned parents.
An episode of
Miley Cyrus' television series, "Hannah Montana", has been pulled out from its Sunday airing schedule on November 9. The episode has been canceled following several parents' complaints after they saw it in an-on-demand version. The announcement of the cancellation was revealed by the spokeswoman to New York Daily News on November 3.
Referring to the cancellation, the spokeswoman said, as quoted by Daily News, "We removed the episode from Sunday's schedule and are now reevaluating it." Though announcing the pulling out of the episode, the unnamed spokeswoman explained the script has actually been reviewed by their Standards and Practices executives who consulted with medical experts to inform the story, and ensured that the story was told responsibly.
Entitled "No Sugar, Sugar", this controversial episode highlights on diabetes. This episode of "Hannah" sees how Miley's character, Hannah, deals with a friend's diagnosis of diabetes. In replacement of this episode, a new episode titled "Ready, Set, Don't Drive" has been prepared. "Don't Drive" tells the story when Miley begins her driver's education, but comes quick to realization that it won't be as easy as she thought.
Back on "Hannah Montana", it is a television series which aired firstly on March 24, 2006 on Disney Channel. The series centers on Miley Stewart who leads a double life as an average teenage girl by day and as a famous pop star by night, known as Hannah Montana. Garnering much success, this television series will be made into a movie, "
Hannah Montana: The Movie", which will be released in the U.S. on April 10, 2009. The movie is starred by Miley Cyrus,
