Lindsay Lohan is among celebrities who give their very first comments after Barack Obama is elected as the 44th U.S. president.
The United States has just elected its very first black president, Barack Obama. There are a group of celebrities who are happy for the Democratic candidate's victory. And
Lindsay Lohan is one of them.
Lindsay was spotted voting in the general election in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 4. Wearing knee-high boots and her signature leggings, the "
Just My Luck" star smiled for the cameras while exiting the polling station.
Following Obama's victory, the 22-year-old actress gave her first reaction. "YES WE CAN," quoted Lindsay as saying. Her girlfriend
Samantha Ronson also gave almost similar comment, saying "YES WE DID!!"
But Lindsay and Samantha aren't the only celebs who are happy for Obama.
Oprah Winfrey,
Madonna,
Kanye West and
Usher also gave their very first reactions of Barack Obama's winning the race for the White House.
"There are not even words to talk about what this night means. It's one of the greatest moments I could ever imagine. That's how great it is," said Oprah, who was among the 125,000 people at Tuesday's victory rally. "I'm so f***ing happy right now," Madonna revealed her happiness.
And Kanye as if told her mother, who passed away about a year ago, about the happy news, saying "HI MOM, OBAMA WON!" Meanwhile, Usher commented, "Isn't this incredible news? Man, this is incredible. It's so incredible to see that this historical thing has happened."
