Britney Spears is ready to take her "face" back in world of music industry as she won 2 coveted prizes from 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards. During the award ceremony on November 6, 2008 in Liverpool's Echo Arena, the Circus singer retained impressive win for the categories of Album of the Year and Best Act of 2008. She took the Album of the Year kudo for her fifth studio album, Blackout.
Though being awarded with two prestigious kudos on the special event, the pop diva didn't attend the award gala in person. Instead, she sent her gratitude via a video message taped earlier. Responding to her victory, Britney said, "Thank you again MTV. I cannot believe I won another EMA. This is another amazing night for me."
The other winners of MTV Europe Music Awards including Katy Perry who won New Act trophy, Kanye West who was named Ultimate Urban, Rick Astley who brought home Best Act Ever, and Pink who won the Most Addictive Track, So What. Additionally, Tokio Hotel got headliner prize, while Emre Aydin snagged Europe's Favorite Act and 30 Seconds to Mars was given the Rock Out trophy.
