When asked about her reaction to Obama's win in the 2008 presidential race, the "
Freaky Friday" starlet responded, "It's an amazing feeling. It's our first, you know, colored president." Lindsay muttered the offensive term in the midst of her interview about gay marriage, cancer research and her role on "Ugly Betty". But she probably meant to say "first president of color" and got confused.
In previous news, Lindsay has given her first reaction following Obama's victory. "YES WE CAN," quoted the actress as saying. Her girlfriend
Samantha Ronson also gave almost similar comment, saying "YES WE DID!!"
