Hayden Panettiere Mistaken for Lindsay Lohan

Hollywood beauty Hayden Panettiere was reportedly pretty upset at fans who mistook her for fellow actress Lindsay Lohan. According to the National Enquirer, fans approached the "Heroes" star when she exited a boutique on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood last week.

"Oh, we LOVE you! Omigod, you're so PRETTY in person!" the female fans gushed. But the encounter turned sour when one of them said, "Oh, Lindsay ... will you appear on 'Ugly Betty' again?"

And this allegedly made Hayden upset. The 19-year-old actress shouted at the girls, saying, "Don't EVER call me that again! ... You have NO idea what an insult that is!" One of the fans then nudged the other, hissing, "I TOLD you that wasn't her!"

Hayden Panettiere will next be seen in new film "I Love You, Beth Cooper", out in theaters in June 2009. The flick is about a nerdy valedictorian proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school, Beth Cooper (played by Hayden), during his graduation speech.
