Former Spice Girls member Melanie Brown will perform a raunchy show called Peep Show at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. The show, in which she will perform, will open for preview performances on March 30, 2009, with an opening night gala planned for April 18 of 2009.
In the show, the former pop star, who is now a TV personality in America and Britain will be "scantily clad, but in a classy way".
Melanie admits that she started her rehearsals in February for the show as the mistress of ceremonies, the "Peep Diva". Giving comment to her role, she said, "This part is great for me. As a Spice Girl I would bring guys on the stage and whip them, so I think I've always been slightly naughty." She also added, "Because I'm coming out as a solo artist next year, I feel this show is putting me back in an arena that I'm most comfortable in and love doing most, which is performing and entertaining on stage."
Former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Melanie is not the only star who performs the show. She will be accompanied by Kelly Monaco, a dancing winner in the same dancing show. Kelly's character in the show will be "Little Bo Peep," a timid and lonely girl who is guided by "Peep Diva" to be a confident, sensual woman. "This is an original show," Melanie announces to People. "The Peep Diva is a diva, but it's all about empowering Kelly's part."
Peep Show show takes a story of sexuality and empowerment told through dance and contemporary popular music, taking the "Peep Diva," a brave and powerful woman who has all answers. She guides "Bo", a modern woman who has yet to discover her own power and sexuality. Later, she will be transformed into a sexy, daring, challenging, and more confident woman through a journey of awakening and self-discovery.
