It has been confirmed that The Cheetah Girls are no longer slated to be part of Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. The decision then generates rumor that the cancellation is due to the naked photos of lead singer Adrienne Bailon that surfaced on the Internet.
The Disney pop trio's performance at the parade has been axed after Adrienne's semi-nude pics hit the Internet. But the official line from the department store has told a different story, suggesting the naughty snapshots of the Cheetah Girl did not influence the decision.
"Performer confirmations are always fluid and subject to change for any live event," a representative for Macy's told OK! magazine in a statement. "In fact we just received confirmations of three new acts this week. The Cheetah Girls were scheduled to appear in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but due to scheduling issues they could not make it."
In the leaked photos, Adrienne Bailon stripped naked as she photographed herself for her beau Robert Kardashian, who is Kim Kardashian's brother. One of the seductive pictures exposed the singer's bare butt.
