Winona Ryder Fell Ill on Flight, Rushed to Hospital
The star of "Girl, Interrupted", , fell ill on a flight to London on Wednesday, November 19. She was rushed to a hospital in London as medical practitioners had been waiting for her when she landed and directly took her to the hospital. However, the actress has been released briefly from the hospital and has felt good, as her representative, Mara Buxbaum, affirmed the news to Associated Press.

A spokesperson for British Airways also reported about the flight in a written statement that the captain of BA282, which was traveling from LA to Heathrow, requested a priority landing as a female passenger required medical attention. The spokesperson went further, "The passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The plane touched down shortly before noon UK time."

About Ryder's illness during the flight, her representative said that Ryder "felt better when she landed but as a precautionary measure [was] taken to the hospital". The representative also added that she had been in hospital for about an hour and had been released in good health without saying into details of the actress' illness.
