Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Welcome Baby Boy

Happy news just comes from Ashlee Simpson and her husband Pete Wentz. The married couple have welcomed their first child, a baby boy.

Ashlee has given birth to son Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Thursday evening, November 20 in Los Angeles, California. The baby boy weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long. "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson tells People.

It's previously been reported that the 24-year-old singer has gone into labor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. "Yes, she is in labor," a family insider has confirmed to In Touch, "and the family are really excited and are waiting to meet the baby."

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz announced her pregnancy in May. "I would love to have a big family one day," the younger sister of Jessica Simpson told People at that time. "A big soccer team or a band!" added her hubby.
