Kristen Stewart has drawn back her dream to go to university, stating that she has "an authority issue".
Since her busy schedule of acting career has taken most of her time after starring in "
Twilight",
Kristen Stewart, 18, has given a rain check to pursue her college dreams. She has reasoned that she has come to the decision because she has "an authority issue". Additionally, the actress who portrays Bella in the movie admits that her own teen feeling of anxiety is to blame.
Giving comment of postponing the college scheme, Stewart says, "It's sort of embarrassing but I'm finishing my last year of high school. It's been a bit of a rough road. I'm entirely self-indulgent and I put things off so I just took a little longer but it's ok." She also states, "I have a bit of an authority issue. I've grown up saying yes I'm going to get to an Ivy League college. I definitely have a future in academics, it's just not a really conventional one. I don't know what happened but I'm going to do my own thing for a while."
Stewart said once in an interview with Movies Online that she didn't consider herself rebellious.
Over the issue, she said, "I don't think I have to be rebellious. I don't feel stifled in any way but I know so many people who are. It's just such a basic, fundamental simple thing to be reminded of that all you have to be is yourself and human and live here and do what makes you happy. That's why, you can talk to anyone from any country, any age or gender and you get this. You've lived this or felt this before."
