Teen sensation Selena Gomez turned 16 on July 22, 2008. But the pictures of her 16th birthday party have just been released. The photos show the 16-year-old actress celebrated her sweet 16 with pals.
Selena's 16th birthday bash was very different from fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus'. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" beauty celebrated her very special day in Los Angeles back in July with her close friends, including BFF Demi Lovato, Brenda Song, Alyson Stoner, David Henrie and Jason Dolley.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus celebrated her 16th birthday seven weeks early at Disneyland on October 5.
There were reportedly over 5,000 people who attended the big party. "My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while," the "7 Things" singer told the press. "This is the most amazing sweet sixteen that a girl could ever have!"
