Although Marilyn Manson has moved on to Isani Griffith after splitting from Evan Rachel Wood, it's still difficult for the goth rocker to forget his ex-wife, Dita Von Teese. One guest at the inaugural U.S. exhibition "Marilyn Manson: Trismegistus" during Art Basel Miami 2008 which was held on Thursday, December 4, broke the news to New York Daily News newspaper.
The 39-year-old rocker was overheard speaking about Von Teese during his first solo art exhibition. Of that matter, the guest said, "Marilyn was saying he 'still pines for Dita' but is 'extremely angry that she took the dog'."
In May 2007, Marilyn Manson told America's Spin magazine that his divorce with Dita Von Teese made him suffer. Giving reason about his divorce, he revealed, "She said she tolerated my lifestyle because she hoped I would change. She threatened to leave if I didn't."
Manson also mentioned his suffering after the divorce, saying "I was someone who had to be apologized for. I wasn't prepared to be alone. I came out of this naked, a featherless bird. I was completely destroyed. I had no soul left."
