Mindy Peters revealed that her film producer hubby Jon Peters had signed Beyonce Knowles to star in a remake of "A Star Is Born".

Cadillac Records" starlet is set to star in a remake of "A Star Is Born". Mindy Peters, the wife of film producer Jon Peters, has confirmed Beyonce's involvement in the movie.
The "Single Ladies" songstress is said to have just signed on to do the remake of "A Star Is Born". Mindy told the Houston Chronicle that her film producer husband Jon had signed Beyonce to a new version of the movie.
"A Star Is Born" is a film made popular by Barbra Streisand in the 70s, Judy Garland in the 50s and Janet Gaynor in the 30s. The movie tells about a has-been rock star who falls in love with a young, up-and-coming female singer.
