Macaulay Culkin's older sister Dakota Culkin was struck by a car on Tuesday, December 9 and died of her injuries on Wednesday, December 10.

Macaulay Culkin has just lost his sister, Dakota Culkin. According to TMZ, the "Home Alone" star's older sister was struck by a car when she stepped off a curb and in front of a moving vehicle in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, December 9.
"We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin," says a rep for Macaulay. "This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time," the rep said of the tragic accident.
Dakota was taken to the UCLA Medical Center with massive head trauma and died of her injuries on Wednesday afternoon, December 10. According to the LAPD, the driver of the car stopped and tried to help the 29-year-old Culkin. He also identified himself to law enforcement. "Detectives determined the motorist was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that no crime was committed", reports E!.
