Anne Hathaway Feels Wonderful to Be Nominated for Golden Globe Award

Being nominated for Best Actress Golden Globe Award for her comedy movie "Rachel Getting Married", Anne Hathaway feels loved and supported.

After finding out her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is guilty of money laundering and fraud charges which then led to their split, actress Anne Hathaway decided to move on with her career. The actress is nominated for Golden Globe Award on December 11 for the category of Best Actress for her comedy movie "Rachel Getting Married".

Regarding her nomination, Hathaway tells People, "This is the year that I realized how profoundly I am loved and supported." She adds, "And [I] realized that in order for a human being to be a successful human being, they must have deep profound wonderful committed relationships in their lives with their friends, with their family, with a lot of different people."

Hathaway also says that she didn't receive the good news in time as her mother and her publicist called in the same time. She reveals, "I was asleep and my mother actually called at the same moment as my publicist, and I answered my house phone because I don't get great cell reception at my house, and so he told me."

Besides, the 26-year-old star admits that she celebrated her nomination in a simple way. She utters, "We made eggs and just kind of danced around in my kitchen," because "It was kind of perfect, simple and very sweet."

In "Rachel Getting Married", Anne Hathaway stars as a drug addict Kym who leaves rehab for the weekend to attend the wedding of her sister Rachel. Her return becomes a catalyst for the long tension in the family. Directed by Jonathan Demme, the movie is a depiction of a strikingly perceptive and sometimes hilarious family portrait.

Taking place at The Beverly Hilton, the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live on NBC on Sunday, January 11 at 8 P.M. Some celebrities who have been scheduled to announce the nominations are Elizabeth Bank, Terrence Howard and Rainn Wilson. Brooke Shields is the latest person who is tapped to join the list of announcer.
