Cody Linley opened up to Seventeen about the worst date he had with his former girlfriend Demi Lovato.
's ex-boyfriend Cody Linley is still remembering his worst date with the actress. The 19-year-old actor revealed to Seventeen about the worst date he had with the 16-year-old Disney cutie.
The "Dancing with the Stars" Season 7 contestant shared, "It was really the most up and down night of my life. When I finally got Demi, we went out to eat and I was explaining to her, 'Yeah, my car, I'm sorry, it broke down,' and as I'm saying that, it starts making a crazy noise again!" He added to the mag, "And I was like, 'Oh, oh, oh no,' and she's like, 'What's happening?' I was like, 'Nothing, it's all good.' She's like, 'Are you sure?' So I had to stop the car and get out. Demi was really sweet. She held the light for me and put in her car repair advice."
Therefore, Cody wants to thank Demi for being patient with him. "She's kind of a technology geek in a way," he said of the "Camp Rock" starlet. "I was trying to use my iPhone to see the engine, and she took my phone away, went to settings, and made the light brighter so I could see better," revealed the actor.
Demi Lovato and Cody Linley reportedly decided to split up since the "Gets Back" singer wanted to focus on touring with pop rock band
Jonas Brothers. Concerning the break up, Cody insisted he and Demi are still friends. "We're kind of on a break... I think it's the only choice really. Otherwise, it would be especially hard, especially if she's going to do international dates too," ContactMusic quoted him as saying.
