Katy Perry. The 24-year-old singer might follow in the footsteps of other singers who have turned designers, launching her own fashion line.
The "I Kissed a Girl" songstress admitted she wants to try her hand at clothes designing in the future. "I've always experimented with clothes and have my own style inspired by pin-up girls and Lolita," she told Fabulous.
Katy also revealed that burlesque queen
Dita Von Teese and British model Agyness Deyn are her fashion icons. She explained, "Agyness Deyn and Dita Von Teese are my fashion icons. I love to create a character, and I like looking like I've just stepped out of a history book."
Defending her image, the girlfriend of
Travis McCoy said, "I say what I think. I'm a real person, not some manufactured pop tart who's afraid to step out of the hotel room." Katy added to the magazine, "I am flawed. I swear, I have the occasional cocktail, I pick my nose and I fart. I'm not running for any presidential campaign at the moment. I'm a sassy girl."
