Vanessa Hudgens Canceled Bar Marmont Birthday Party

Vanessa Hudgens turned 20 years old on Sunday, December 14. However, the "High School Musical" cutie reportedly canceled her 20th birthday bash at Chateau Marmont.

According to E! News, Vanessa was scheduled to have a birthday bash at Bar Marmont on Sunday night. But the birthday girl decided to cancel the party because she didn't want the bad press. "She canceled because she didn't want the bad press because it's a bar. She could have gotten in though, because they serve dinner as well," a restaurant source tells E!.

But it didn't stop Vanessa from enjoying her very special day. The now 20-year-old actress spent the day with her boyfriend Zac Efron. The lovebirds were spotted dining at Stanley's Restaurant and Bar in Sherman Oaks. "She's been here before," Stanley's manager Luis Morales reveals to E!. "They came in for lunch and sat by themselves. We don't bother them much."

Vanessa also got a special gift from her actor beau. Zac got her a bouquet of flowers and a large gift for her 20th birthday. And just for the record, as reported by E! News, the actress' rep says of the party that it "was never for sure. [Bar Marmont] was just one of the places we considered."
