Scarlett Johansson Talks About New Album
feels confident to step on singing career after her album, "Anywhere I Lay My Head", topped the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart this past spring. The actress-turned-singer told MTV News on Monday, December 15 that she wants to do another album, which will be in a form of original tunes.

While promoting her new action movie, "", she told MTV about her upcoming album, saying "I don't think I'd do covers, so it'd be a project that I have to dedicate myself to." She also added, "I feel like that's something for the future."

Being famous as an actress, Scarlett Johansson launched her album "Anywhere I Lay My Head" on May 20, 2008. In her album, David Bowie contributed to two tracks, "Falling Down" and "Fannin Street."

"Anywhere I Lay My Head" received mixed reviews as NME called it as 8/10 in NME and The Times called it as 1/5. Paste magazine which featured Johansson its June 2008 cover, also displayed two reviews of the album by two different authors. One author mentioned the tracks as "new standards" while the other claimed the album to be "sub standard".
