Katy Perry has blasted the report that claimed her beau Travis McCoy proposed to her during a recent trip to Paris.

Travis McCoy. The 24-year-old singer hit back at report that claimed the
Gym Class Heroes front man proposed to her during a recent trip to Paris.
In a rant on her MySpace blog late Tuesday night, December 16, Katy blasted the engagement rumors. "NOT engaged! But thanks for the free press New York Daily News! You should fact check with the source before you spread world wide news like that." Her rep has also confirmed that the rumors of the engagement are "not true".
The New York Daily News recently reported that Travis McCoy proposed to Katy Perry while the two were in Paris. Travis reportedly popped the question by giving the "I Kissed a Girl" songstress a kiss, with a diamond ring hidden in his mouth.
