Reports that claimed Britney Spears and Paris Hilton's ex-beau Benji Madden are dating are "completely false". The "Womanizer" singer's publicist Holly Shakoor has denied the romance rumors.
In Touch reports that the mother-of-two and the Good Charlotte rocker have been "on a few dates". But Britney's publicist has denied any connection, telling E! News, "The claims made by In Touch are completely false. There is not an ounce of truth to any of it."
The tabloid claims that Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, and her father, Jamie Spears, have been searching for potential boyfriends for the 27-year-old singer. Beside Benji, the list of potential suitors also included Chace Crawford, Jesse Metcalf, and Michael Phelps.
"Larry made phone calls, and Benji ended up being the most interested in being fixed up," claims In Touch. "He plans to make a big, splashy announcement to help publicize her tour."
But Benji was spotted spending Monday evening at the D&G store opening with his ex-girlfriend Paris, according to E!. He and the socialite were both spotted at Christina Aguilera's birthday party again on Thursday evening, December 18.
