A burglar broke into Paris Hilton's house and stole 2 million dollars worth of jewelry when the heiress wasn't at home.
On Friday, December 19,
Paris Hilton was spotted having fun at a club, but she didn't realize that Friday was not a good day for her. A burglar stole an estimated $2 million worth of jewelry and other belongings from her house located in Sherman Oaks, California at 5 A.M., according to Los Angeles Times report.
Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Richard French told Us Weekly about the robbery, saying, "According to detectives, a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced entry into the front door." French also continued stating that the thief "ransacked her bedroom and took an undisclosed amount of property and fled the scene."
Furthermore, a police source told Los Angeles Times that the 27-year-old heiress was not at home when the incident happened. The star was spotted dancing together with
Katy Perry and gossip blogger Perez Hilton at Bar Delux in Hollywood in early morning on the same day.
Detectives from the LAPD's Van Nuys division interviewed Hilton's people at her home on the same day, according to reports. Meanwhile, Hilton's representative was not available to comment on this incident.
