Taylor Swift is the cover girl for ForUs magazine's newest issue. The American country singer talks about her idol, Faith Hill, and designing sun dresses. She doesn't forget to remark college plans to the magazine.
About one of her favorite celebrities, Swift points to country singer Hill. She reveals, "I was always so nervous to meet her and when I finally did at the ACM's in 2007, she was the sweetest celebrity I'd ever met." She remembers the time she became the opening performance for Hill's tour, saying, "She and Tim McGraw took me out on tour with them as their opening act that summer, and Faith would always leave presents in my dressing room."
Swift then changes the subject to designing her own fashion. About it, she admits, "Everyone's suffering because of the current state of the economy, so I try to be as conscious of that as possible when I make decisions." Claiming the dresses are what she wears most, the beauty also utters, "I'm in the process of designing a line of sun dresses for L.E.I., so be sold exclusively as Wal-Mart," while adding, "so I'm really excited for them to come out!"
Swift also mentions the importance of post high school education. Of it, she implies, "I've always thought that college makes you a well-rounded person. It's about the experiences you gather and the life lessons you learn, and it teaches you how to be independent." She also announces, "If I were to take classes later on in life, it would probably have something to do with video editing," reasoning "I'm really fascinated by all of that."
Taylor Swift told "The E! True Hollywood Story", which aired on December 19, about her music. She implied that her music is influenced by LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Dixie Chicks. Admitting she wanted to sing country music ever since she discovered her idols' music, the "Love Story" songstress explained, "I wanted to sing country music. Didn't matter if I lived in Pennsylvania. Didn't matter if everybody at my school was like, 'You - you? Play country music? Why do you like country music? You're so weird.'"
