Trying to make children happy, Young Jeezy gave out presents to underprivileged children this holiday.
Young Jeezy knows how to share happiness with others. The American rapper gave out toys, bikes, skateboards, and sneakers to underprivileged children at the Frank Johnson Recreation Center in Macon, Ga. on Monday, December 22.
Jeezy also delivered gifts to select kids living at the Bedford Pines housing projects in Atlanta on Wednesday, December 24. The 31-year-old singer went door-to-door to almost 50 homes, giving out presents ranging from video game consoles to bicycles.
"I never really looked forward to Christmas," Jeezy told The Associated Press in a phone interview. "I knew how it was to look forward to Christmas and not know if you're getting a gift or not. But I always used to say if I was fortunate enough, I was going to help the less fortunate."
About his generosity, the rapper said he just wanted to make children happy on the holiday. "I'm just trying to be the person who they can count on when things get tough," he explained. "I don't want them to look at this holiday as a bad thing like I did."
