Jonas Brothers are set to perform at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. And their performance in Times Square on New Year's Eve has sparked concerns from the New York Police Department.
According to People, the NYPD are worried that a "mob scene" could develop if fans rush to watch Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas perform at the event on Wednesday, December 31. Therefore, police officials are planning to use extra security for support.
"They're now planning on using extra [security] men for support," People quoted a source as saying. "It's going to be crazy because everyone will be in Times Square to watch them perform on the show."
Meanwhile, Joe Jonas will be reunited with his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift at the event. The 19-year-old Jonas broke up with the country singing sensation in October.
