Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance Ross McCall reportedly broke up over the holidays.
and her fiance Ross McCall have ended their engagement, People reports. The "If Only" starlet and the Scottish actor reportedly broke up over the holidays.
"They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement," reveals a source close to the couple. Representatives for both Jennifer and Ross, however, had no immediate comment about the report.
"They're both really sad about this," the source adds. Their breakup report even makes their friends "surprised". "Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them," says the source.
Jennifer Love Hewitt met Ross McCall when he made an appearance on "Ghost Whisperer". The 29-year-old actress got engaged to the 32-year-old actor in November 2007 after dating for two years.
