Wednesday, January 7, could be an unforgettable night for country star Carrie Underwood. The former "American Idol" star, who arrives to the 2009 People's Choice Awards wearing a strapless Naeem Khan gown, has picked up three PSAs for Favorite Star Under 35, Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Country Song.
Carrie isn't the only celebrity who attends the event held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Teen star Dakota Fanning also hits the red carpet in a one-shoulder blue dress. Her film "The Secret Life of Bees" wins the trophies for Favorite Movie Drama and Favorite Independent Drama.
Reese Witherspoon, meanwhile, looks simple but gorgeous as she poses in the press room in her black dress. Beating out Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley, Reese brings home the trophy for Favorite Female Movie Star for her work in "Four Christmases".
Also hitting the red carpet are Kate Hudson, Katherine Heigl, Jessica Stroup and Nikki Cox among others. Jordin Sparks also attends the event, where she and Chris Brown win the award for Favorite Combined Forces.
