Kelly Osbourne has been arrested for assaulting gossip columnist Zoe Griffin back in August of 2008. The daughter of Ozzy Osbourne is accused of smacking the Daily Mirror's reporter in London's Punk nightclub last August after Zoe called Kelly's boyfriend Luke Worrell "stupid".
"Kelly shouted loudly in my ear, 'I have an issue with you. Everyone has been laughing at my boyfriend.' Then I felt a hard slap," Zoe later told police. On January 2, Kelly turned herself into a London police station.
The London Police spokesperson said on Monday, January 19, "We can confirm a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police [station] by appointment on 2 January." The police spokesperson explained, "She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of August 29, 2008. She has been bailed until a date in March."
