Shia LaBeouf Banned From Driving for a Year

Shia LaBeouf has been banned from driving for a year. The actor's driver's license has been suspended for at least a year as a result of his July 2008 car accident which left him with a crushed wrist.

His license was suspended on Saturday, January 17. According to Access Hollywood, the "Eagle Eye" star has been given the punishment because he refused to undergo "chemical tests" at the scene of the crash. About this, Shia's attorney couldn't immediately be reached for comment.

Last September, Shia LaBeouf was cleared of driving under the influence (DUI) by the Los Angeles County District Attorney. The 22-year-old actor has undergone multiple surgeries to correct his wrist.
