David Cook Going Back to School

David Cook will be going back to school, but not to learn for sure. The "American Idol" Season 7 winner has announced on Friday, January 23 that he will be going on an U.S. tour around universities and collages, singing tracks from his self-titled album.

According to the Associated Press, David will start his tour on February 13 at Florida State University. The 26-year-old singer will then visit 35 other schools. The last place the star will visit is the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma on April 25.

"There's something inherently nostalgic about playing college shows. So many amazing acts used to do it, so it's nice to be able to bring that ideal back, in some small way," David said. The Associated Press reports that other schools he will visit include the University of Mississippi and the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
