Selena Gomez recently shot a PSA for State Farm Insurance about the importance of being a reliable driver.
Selena Gomez really cares about safe driving even though she doesn't have her driver's license yet. The 16-year-old actress recently shot a public service announcement for State Farm Insurance about the importance of being a reliable driver.
"Don't do a thousand things in your car!" the "Wizards of Waverly Place" starlet tells People while filming the PSA on Saturday. Selena urges drivers to take more care behind the wheel, saying, "In the car, just focus on what you need to be doing."
"I'm going to try to put my phone on silent," the Disney star continues. "You can tell yourself, 'I'm not going to get it,' but once you hear it you get tempted and distracted. So for me ... I'll put it on silent, put it in my purse and just drive."
Selena also shot the PSA with her mom Mandy. The PSA will air on the Disney Channel and can be viewed on in March.
