Rihanna was reportedly found by two officers from the LAPD Wilshire Division in Chris Brown's rented silver Lamborghini "beaten really badly and hysterical."
Words are swirling that the woman involved in a fight with
Chris Brown allegedly was
Rihanna. And law enforcement told TMZ that the "Umbrella" hitmaker's injuries were severe, two "huge contusions" which swelled up on both sides of her forehead and "a bloody lip and nose." Chris has been booked on a felony criminal threats charge, and domestic violence charges could be added if the DA files the case.
According to E!, Rihanna called 911 after her rumored beau "fled on foot" from the scene following the attack. The Barbadian singer was reportedly found by two officers from the LAPD Wilshire Division in Chris' rented silver Lamborghini "beaten really badly and hysterical." Officers then took her to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment.
Although the LAPD issued a statement on Sunday night, February 8 saying Chris had been arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats and could face additional charges now that the case had been forwarded to the district attorney. But the DA spokeswoman says, "LAPD are telling some reporters that we received the evidence but we have not received anything yet. Normally it would come in today, maybe this afternoon, but no, they haven't presented it and I don't know when they will."
Update: According to TMZ, Rihanna didn't call 911. "Someone in the area heard her screams and called."
