Rihanna is said to be OK after alleged assault by her rumored boyfriend Chris Brown. Her grandmother, Clara Brathwaite, reveals that the 20-year-old singer "is fine and doing well".

"I don't want people to worry. Rihanna is fine and she is doing well," Brathwaite tells Barbados' Daily Nation newspaper. Besides, Brathwaite also denies that the "Take a Bow" songstress has a broken nose.

Meanwhile, fellow R'n'B singer Kanye West told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM radio show that he was "completely devastated" by the alleged assault. "Rihanna is so important to our culture ... to pop music," he said. "I feel like she is the most important artist in music and has the most potential. Her taste level and her age ... she has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time."

Kanye furthermore added, "In that sense, I feel like that's my baby sis." He continued, "I would do any and everything to help her in any situation."
