Jennifer Hudson proudly showed off her trophy at the 40th NAACP Image Awards. The former "American Idol" star brought home three awards, including Outstanding New Artist. Rosario Dawson was also over the moon as she was named Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in "Seven Pounds".

Other celebs attending the event include Taraji P. Henson, who won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", Dakota Fanning, who was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture, and Seal among others. Dakota's film "The Secret Life of Bees" was named Outstanding Motion Picture.

The 40th NAACP Image Awards has been aired live from Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on Thursday, February 12 on FOX. The event was hosted by Halle Berry and Tyler Perry, both are recipients of an NAACP Image Award.
