Hilary Duff Wants to Be Vampire in 'New Moon'

Former Disney star Hilary Duff reportedly wants to play a vampire in "New Moon". The 21-year-old beauty was heard backstage at Mercedes Benz Fashion week talking to "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli about how badly she wants a role in the new flick, reports Hollyscoop.

"Hilary told Peter how bad she wants to be in the next Twilight movie," a source revealed to Hollyscoop. "Hilary said that she would want to be one of the vampires in the movie," added the source.

By playing a vampire in "New Moon", Hilary may have a chance to shoot a scene opposite Robert Pattinson. The "A Cinderella Story" star previously revealed her crush on the British heartthrob. "I told my boyfriend, I was like, 'Edward Cullen... I mean, find me a vampire, you might be done...!' He's handsome," said the actress, who is currently dating hockey ace Mike Comrie.
