Commenting on the rumor about the dating, Mickey Rourke retorted that he would rather romance a gorilla than Courtney Love.

Kurt Cobain's widow. Furthermore, the Oscar nominee felt totally annoyed with the rumor that he dated the former front lady of
Hole, which was issued to the public. He extremely retorted, "I'd rather be on a deserted island with a gorilla."
The Mirror reported that Rourke texted Love to ask her out on a date following his Golden Globe win. The rumor was continued with the news that they had been an item for weeks.
Recently, the actor and the lady rocker both attended Elle Style Awards in London on February 9 night. Rourke won the best actor prize and Love was crowned as the Elle Woman of the Year. In that event, Love was reported "to be seeing Rourke in secret and was reportedly throwing eye daggers at him for flirting with gossip columnists the 3 AM Girls at the Elle Style party at Big Sky Studios."
Rourke and Love are old friends who have known each other for years. Both of them reportedly met up for a secret date in January and spent their entire night together.
