British pop singer, , is going to sue News of the World because the tabloid published a rumor that she encouraged kids to try drugs. Allen said via Twitter on February 16, "Phoning my lawyers and taking legal action, news of the world need a better dutch translator, as if I would say that. And they know it."

Then, she added, "Won't let the c*nts ruin her day. I scored the tripple, single, album and airplay. couldn't be happier, thank you, it's not me it's you." On February 15, the website reported about Allen, who infuriated parents by saying that they should allow their kids to try lethal class-A drugs like ecstasy. "Parents should say, 'Drugs might seem fun, but they do funny things to your brain. Some people react to it good, some don't. Try it and see what you think'," she said in an interview with Dutch magazine Revu.

The 23-year-old star admitted, "If I hadn't been famous I'd have taken loads. Wouldn't be too wise right now." Then, she added, "I've never been good with cocaine or drugs like that. They make me passionately angry on everything. I steer clear of heroin or crack."

Because of the publication of that news, Allen received criticism from several people. Tory MP Patrick Mercer described Allen's comments as "extraordinary", while Rob Broomfield from Dads Against Drugs, called her as being "immature".
