Forgetting the lines of her new single, Miley Cyrus is flooded by the criticisms from her fans.
"Hannah Montana" star, Miley Cyrus, disappointed her fans by forgetting her song lyrics during the second verse at a five-minute promotion gig at "Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway" in London. The audience was stunned as she turned away from them and stopped singing when she reached the second verse of her new single "Fly On The Wall". Fans had flooded online chat forums to discuss her shambolic performance on the ITV1 show.
"It was so bad. I was cringing. She turned her head away from the audience and it looked as if she had forgotten the words," cried Olivia Ellingham from Bedford. Then, another fan said, "I saw her go quiet and wondered why, then I noticed her miming 'Oh my God, I forgot my lines!' to her dancer at the end." In addition, one fan stated, "How can you forget your own song?"
The 16-year-old teen starlet caused her record company spending 150k pounds to fly her on a private jet so she could perform at that UK variety show. A source said, "Due to time constraints the only way Miley could come to the UK was on a private jet. All her dancers were on the flight and they were chauffeured everywhere. The costs were covered by Hollywood Records who look after all Disney artists and Polydor."
Since Cyrus had flown back to Los Angeles, she missed the British premiere of the new series of "Hannah Montana". "Miley had to be back in LA for filming first thing on Monday so she was in London for less than 20 hours. She was gutted to miss the premiere," mentioned a source.
A Polydor spokesman opined, "She always sings live so anything can happen."
