Rihanna Said to Be 'Appalled' by Chris Brown's Apology

Rihanna is reportedly "appalled" by Chris Brown's apology. The Barbados-born beauty, who was allegedly attacked by the "Kiss Kiss" crooner on February 8, finds his statement about being "sorry and saddened" over the incident "arrogant".

"All of us, including Rihanna, don't understand how he can say he's sorry on the one hand, but still ... does not admit any guilt," a source close to Rihanna tells the Chicago Sun-Times. "He should have expressed more contrition."

On Sunday, February 15, a spokesman on behalf of Chris Brown issued a statement, apologizing for the incident. "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired," the 19-year-old hunk said in the statement. "I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person."
