After starring for five seasons in "Desperate Housewives", Nicollette Sheridan is going to be killed off from the show.
The exact story about how
Nicollette Sheridan is gonna leave Wisteria Lane is finally revealed. The National Enquirer reported that the character Edie Britt would be killed off by a huge jolt from a power line. However, there is no official confirmation yet from the studio.
It was reported that the last episode of Sheridan in "Desperate Housewives" would be aired in April, when her character as a dishonest real estate agent Edie Britt would survive a car crash only to 'succumb to a surge from a live wire moments later'.
Being asked about Sheridan's departure, her co-star
Eva Longoria expressed to Extra about her disappointment as Sheridan leaves the show. "I love her so much as a person, and I love the character of Edie Britt, that I can't imagine the show without her," she said on February 12, the day after Sheridan's leaving was confirmed.
Meanwhile, Sheridan gave different opinion of her own departure. "I'm OK with leaving," Sheridan said, adding, "I'm on to the next project and done with this show."
