Celebrities hit the red carpet of the 2009 Brit Awards held at Earls' Court in London on Wednesday, February 18. Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Estelle are among stars attending the event.

Posing for photographers, Katy looks stylish in a Hello Kitty-encrusted bustier. Meanwhile, Taylor looks gorgeous in her strapless silver dress. British singer Estelle also shows her fashion sense, wearing an ivory bow adorned dress .

However, Katy was forced to leave the awards show early after she found herself overwhelmed by a wave of illness. "I'm so sick right now, but they said I should show up because something special might happen. Thank you to everyone at my record label. (I proved) I work pretty hard because I want to die right now," said the "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker, who wins Best International Female Solo Artist.

Also attending the 2009 Brit Awards are Australian singers Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia, American band Kings of Leon and British singer Duffy. Lionel Ritchie, Tom Jones and Gabriella Cilmi are also seen at the event.
