Charlie Sheen's wife, Brooke Mueller, was hospitalized in a Los Angeles area hospital on Tuesday, February 17. She was taken to the hospital due to premature contractions "which is not uncommon at this stage of a pregnancy carrying twins", as being confirmed by Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield to UsMagazine on February 18.
"She's fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today," the rep continued. Mueller's pregnancy is due in April. In October 2008, Mueller announced that she is expecting twin boys.
Mueller (31) and Sheen (43) tied the knot in a small ceremony in a Beverly Hills estate on May 30, 2008. It's the third marriage for the "Two and a Half Men" star while it is the first for Mueller, a real estate agent and former actress. From his previous relationship, he got three children, Sam (4) and Lola (3) from ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra (23) from ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt.
