"Hannah Montana" star, Miley Cyrus, said that there was nothing "weird" about the relationship between her and father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. The 16-year-old singer, who will launch her memoir "Miles to Go", was bothered with people who thought her relationship with her father was "too close and too cuddly". She believed some people were simply "full of anger, hatred and bitterness", as being reported by The Associated Press.
Billy Ray previously had stated at UsMagazine that he was proud of his daughter so he always wants to show his affection. "She loves what she's doing. She has a real passion for making music as an artist," he mentioned, adding, "She loves being an actress, and we all feel very fortunate being in the Disney family and getting to do both of our loves."
In addition to the 'cuddly' relationship with her dad, Cyrus explained that in her memoir, "Miles to Go," she wrote her down-then-up relationship with another "Hannah Montana" star, Emily Osment. Besides, she also talked about her ex-boyfriend, believed to be Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, but she didn't mention him by name, only as "Prince Charming." The 266-page book was written by Hilary Liftin with the provided materials and ideas originally from Miley Cyrus.
The rumor between the "Bolt" star and her dad appeared because of the photo shoot for Vanity Fair in 2008, in which she was pictured reclining her dad, her arm around his shoulder, and both of them somber and bare-armed. But she admitted that she loves her father, wasn't afraid to show it, and said "we don't let other people tell us what expressions we're supposed to have on our faces when we take a picture together!"
